Your wedding is one of the most important days in your life. It should be a time of great joy. Too often we see the stress of planning override the fun.

We believe that the bagpipes and the piper should compliment your wedding and not be the focal point. Sorry guys, but the Bride should always be the focal point of the day.  How you plan for this day will effect the overall memories you will have.

Here are some ideas to help you with planning.

  • Music: How much of an effect do you want the bagpipes to be?

Bagpipes can be played at anytime before during or after the ceremony.

  1. Piper plays as a prelude to the wedding as guests are arriving.

  2. An alternative and tradition for a Scottish wedding is for the brides maids to gather the Groom and escort him to the church lead by a piper.

(Note* If you are looking for the "Grand Entrance", think about saving the Piper for the Bridal party. Use organ music or other instruments for the prelude.)

  1. Piper leads in the Bridal Party.

  2. Piper leads in the Bride. (This is usually a separate tune from the brides maids music.)

  3. Piper plays during the ceremony ( lighting of the unity candle).

  4. Piper plays during the recessional.

  5. Piper plays during the receiving line.

  6. Piper to play leading the bride and groom in at the reception.

We can custom design bagpiping  to compliment your entire wedding ceremony. Please feel free to ask us any question. In addition our staff is always ready to help in any area of your wedding. We take exceptional pride in being able to coordinate last minute changes and details.

Is your Wedding party going to be outfitted in Scottish attire?
